New Impala

2013 Chevrolet Impala caught testing

There's a bunch of pics of the heavily camo'd car in the link. Dash looks nice. Wheels look cool too

Re: New Impala

The interior looks really well done.

The shape of the car doesn't seem to match that sneak peak Chevy 100 video car in the other thread. Wonder what that car is???

Those pics were taken just outside the entrance to the Milford Proving Grounds, where I used to work.

That's a pretty awesome place.

Re: New Impala

Headlamps and tail lights appear to be temporary units. I do like the overall shape, but can't get a great feel for the proportions.

That's where I work. I saw the car for the first time in person last week, I had no idea they were working on a new one!

I've also seen a much more heavily discussed upcoming car

Re: New Impala

I like what I see so far. Interior looks great.

Why don't the manufactures tint the front side windows on these cars to better hide the interior?

I've seen some do that before, but it doesn't seem very common.

Looks really nice. I agree what was featured on the Chevy 100 show is not the Impala.

I like the full car bra for the exterior.

Re: New Impala

Nice interior. Looks like Mercedes steering wheel. But this is FWD based correct?

Yep. It's on Eps II, so FWD/AWD.

Re: New Impala

I think that is the car from the 100 show. Look at the 5th picture over in the autoblog photos (first of the rear quarter) and compare with this picture. There is camo over the C pillar area and the rear side window. If you look really hard you can see it as the camo was added in the same shape. Same shape as the window shown below, same curved upper door shape below the window, same door to body joint and same chrome trim around the window. Make sure you look at it in the large size.

Look at the back ground picture of the side view, proportions seem to be off. Also the camo'd car rear window is shorter and meets the trunk differently.
