New GM engine plant

Here's a story on a new GM engine plant that's supposed to build only high performance, niche engines.

I know we've already speculated about Blue Devil/ZL1 and Caddy V12.

But I wonder which engines...and how many of them...and for which cars..will actually be assembled there?

THats the local rumor, the ZL1 and other high dollar engines. $10million isn't too much to spend on a engine plant this will obviously be an assembly plant not a production of parts plant. Either way its great news for the local workforce and a good way for GM to control this segment of the market. Unlike the ZR1 GM's won't have to rely on Lotus, Illmor Eng., or Mercury Marine for outsourced engines.
