It just looks like a slightly updated version of the current one, with a nose similar to the Camry (which is hideous).

Toyota definitely dropped the ball here.

That front end makes me think of the old Mazda Proteges front end with the wide open black grille with the logo in the center. Otherwise looks like a slightly updated version of the current one without any major changes.

At least theres a nav screen there to take a little away from the boring look of the interior. A friend of mine owns an 06 Corolla and it literally has to be the most boring designed car Ive ever rode in. I understand they're mostly appliance cars but damn I would choose a Cobalt, Civic, or Mazda3 before ever looking at one of these.

With the Celica gone, that's the most exciting-looking car you can buy with a Toyota badge on it.

Toyota's design team should be ashamed.

Agreed 100%. The car has essentially looked the same since the mid 90's.

BUT you know it will still sell 250K+ /year.

that's the sad truth... people will buy toasters with the Toyota logo in them and drive them to work...

*Ducks head*, we have a corolla, it's a 99... my fiance drives it (Ok I drive it too when I don't want to drive my gas sucking trucks ). I can honestly say its THE MOST BORING (and slow ) vehicle I've ever owned. In all honesty, I doubt the general public could tell the difference between the 2007 and 2008 at a glance. Even the interior looks essentially the same! (and I'm comparing the pictures to what I recall our '99 to look like.)

Not particularly exciting, but no worse than most cars in the segment.

I did notice they have pictures of 2 different engines. Any chance one of them is the rumored DI toyota4?

I think it looks pretty nice actually, looks way cooler than a 4 door cobalt.

This car isn't ugly at all. It is a nice looking car, just REALLY REALLY boring

Since the 90's I think all Corollas have been "good looking" cars, just really boring.

I find the cobalt to be stylish and sporty looking, but hey, that's me

You could very easily slap a Hyundai badge on it and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It makes the Honda Accord look sporty.
