Yeah, that color immediately reminds me of the General Lee

 

I don't know, seems more fitting of a muscle/pony car.
I do like the smoked headlights though.

 

It would look great on a Camaro along with 2 white stripes.

 

Orange belongs on Pumpkins and Flowers.... NOT cars.

Orange (ANY shade) is one of the ugliest colors a car can have. Right up there along with that horrid Olive Green color from the 70's.

 

DSOM is much better.

This looks like either a construction vehicle, or a slab of Velvetta cheese.

Ya, even Conti's site is saying it could possibly be an incorrect representation of the color.

The mixed paint on the stick would have ot be real, I would think... and it doesn't look liek those pictures of the bright orange.

More of a more vibrant DSOM.

 

I had 2 '79 Dodge Ram Chargers - one solid, one w/ a white roof - in Sunburst Orange ( pumkin ) color.

Trust me, you NEVER had a problem finding it in the parking lot !


That Challenger concept was in Orange - I liked it, too.

Only crazy 70's color I am not keen on was Chrysler's Panther Pink , although I would not change it on an original car.

While an orange Vette is not my thing, orange does not look bad on all cars.

I LOVE a '69 Camaro in hugger orange, and when the '99 Camaro offered hugger orange as an option, I nearly fell over. I lusted after a hugger orange '99 Camaro SS at the local dealership for a long time.

But on the Vette, SOM is more desirable than the orange shown in those photoshops. I'm anxious to see what the new color really looks like, especially in person. I think those photoshops are wrong.
