The more I see of it, the more I like it. I saw the concept (in person) back in May, and it didn't do much for me. Those pictures do. Thanks for posting.

Question Hhhhhmmmm.....

Not too sure this makes sense to the rest of you but, my reaction is the production model isn't as "crisp" as the concept.....I really liked the side and hood scoops on the concept...good clean lines.

Ford is going to have a field day with special editions based on this re-design though....might be fun.

For those of you that do not care for the wheels and like to swing to the drag racing side of things...

Those wheels are horrendous.

I don't dislike it, but... :blah:

Yeah.. add another another tick for me in the 'those wheels suck' column. They belong on a Mitsubishi Eclipse or Galant or something equally pedestrian, not a Mustang. The rest of the car looks good to me tho'.

That 1/4 window is tiny---why'd they bother? And the front end looks kind of sad and depessed, like the GM S-Series trucks.

Oh well--I am sure it will get its fair share of looks--wonder if the retro styling will last and still attract buyers 2-3 years after launch.

Instead of that 3.0 V6 for base they shoulda used that Aussie 24V DOHC I6.

I'm impressed!! At least they did a better job than our GTO. What a dissappointment. A Cavalier on steroids. I'm sure some how if the Fbodies come back GM will Fu(k it up. Whether its pricing, marketing, or style they always find a way drop the ball.

GM is not/isn't gonna be the same anymore, give them a chance.

Well, that just looks more out of place than the 5" rear wheel well to tire space.

True. Although it does look a little better than the stock rims, the racecar look just seems wierd on it IMO.

I agree, the Turbo Falcon XR6T gives the Commodore SS (LS1) a run for its money..

That's exactly my point. It just does not have that "new and upcoming" feel to it. It's like they are marketing it to the 40+ crowd.

Got rid of that 4x4 look.

Rims are love hate from what I've heard so far.

Ugh, it gets uglier everytime I see it. The entire car looks like an afterthought. I sort of like the interior, though.
