Sorry, I don't recall at the moment, but what are the power and torque ratings on it?

Oh yeah, it kinda looks like what the result would be for an LS1/LT1 intake merger

I believe it is rated at 300 hp, not sure of the torque. Any of our experts care to chime in here?

No official #'s are out for that engine yet. The expected HP is 300HP

"Has anyone seen our cat, Muffins?"

"Oh, I think she is sleeping in the new Mustang's intake valley."

The 3V motor was originally expected to be available at intro.....but there is a chance it won't be out until 1 year after Mustang release.

Whatever the final power rating ends up being...the intent is to have the Mustang GT run with the current Mach1 and LS1 F-car.

We'll see very soon.

Correct, I believe the latest rumored power numbers have it at about 300 hp and 320 tq.

does the ls1 have a valley that big?? i guess the longer runners give it more hp. i wonder if they are planning on putting anything in there. i know the old engine bays are big, but the new ones might have to get bigger, or have hood scoops

Thumbs up

Pretty wicked looking! I imagine it will look awesome in final trim. I also noticed the LT1/LS1 intake similarities. Power is similar too, but with 1.1 litre smaller displacement. Nice!

I thought the longer runners meant more torque not HP( like the TPI)?
It will be impressive if that motor can make over 300 at the wheels.
