I thought it was pretty much a given that this was the Chevy concept.

I take it that we could be seeing a concept (even if it's only a picture) sometime before the actual show then?!

I dont think we will ever see a concept Camaro. Chevy never introduced a concept C6 Corvette....it just appears in complete, production form a short time before it is available for purchase.

True, but there have been concept Camaros and Corvettes in the past... California Camaro, Stingray III, the CERV's... plus a ton more back through time... so it is at leats possible...

Rest assured that you will NOT see a concept Camaro at NAIAS this year.
Now...don't lose faith.........but you won't see one this year.
Concept is neither coupe or sedan or truck.........
Won't comment on other Divisions..........not appropriate..........

I was thinking about this the other day at work....Wouldn't it make sense if the concept he's talking about is going to be based on the Ute??

I’ll be floored if we get any news at all about the Camaro at this years show. I’m betting next year will the year for the concept. It only makes sense. Concept Camaro for the 2005 show then production car for the 2006 show. That way they could start selling them late 2006 as 2007 models. This is similar to the current Mustang introduction. I don’t think they want anything to overshadow the Vette introduction this year. Just my guess though.

You just can't pass-up that kind of free exposure and publicity. It'd be downright foolish IMO.
