D'oh! Missed one. After comparing pictures of the Falcon XT with this mystery car, I'm 95% sure it's a Falcon. I saw the Hyundai at lunch today and it's definitely not the Hyundai.

 

It's a Falcon. Ford has had a few over here the last few months. What you may think is happening in fact is. We just don't know the extent to which it will happen yet.

 

They've really been hush hush about the Falcons. Last I heard they hadn't made a decisions, but if they're bringing more over, I've got a pretty good idea what they've decided. GTO, it's time to meet your match (or in this case, more than your match)

 

the people posting on GMI seem to be pretty convinced it's a new Hyundai Sonata.

 

It is confirmed to be a Sonata...it was testing with a fleet of Malibus....

Probably not, since by the time they make it over here.....if they make it over here, GTOs will have the LS2.

It's definately not a Ford Falcon, that much is for sure from the begining.

It looks like it's going to have a nice front end, Sonata or not.

 

The car is indeed a Hyundai, I seen 2 of the exact same car pictured, Yesterday. Near Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Michigan you will see Hyundai's from time to time with manufacturers, Esspecially camo'ed.
