My First Hand in Drawing Some Camaro Concepts

First off don't laugh.......I don't have anywhere close to some of the artistic skill that some of you all have around here. I know some of my proportions are all out of wack, and I took pics. of my drawings and the camara seems to magnify some of the problems. But anyways......

The first is more of a 1st gen. retro concept, it actually turned out more retro than what I was shooting for. Its has a trunk in tune with the 1st and 2nd gen.

The second is the same drawing with some modifications to make it a more modern style. It has a hatchback in tune with the 3rd and 4th gen. Both concepts are T or Targa tops.

Let me know what you think of my first try.

Camaro Concepts

p.s. If you don't like the Chevy Bar on the front of Chevy cars, don't look at these concepts.

That's one heck of a nice "first try"! Work on getting the front end more proportionate and it'll look right. While it has some retro cues it has a pretty angular look about it to offset them. Nice job.

As stated above, not bad for a first try. Just work on your proportions abit. My first thought when I looked at the car was "hey...that car is raising the peoples eyebrow." J/K

Not bad but everything from the firewall back looks like a 3rd gen firebird.
