my 5th gen concepts-part 1

i need someone to host these for me if you will
i don't have one of those sites and i probably couldnt set one up if i tried
so once someone can host them, i'll (or they'll) attach them

here's a description on some stuff i took from other generations
some are intentional, some unintentional
this is from a word doc so i'm just gonna cut and paste

"There are a few characteristics that tied in with previous generations, most unintentional
first gen- got the basic body design, quarter window, upper grille (like 2nd gen also), fender flares ala 69

2nd gen- upper and lower grille (ala late 2nd gens), trunk (also like 1st gen), t-top placement (notice how the t-top is moved slightly forward on some just incase it would be a problem to have the t-top, quarter window, and door window meet at one place)

3rd gen- you probably see more of this than most but…strictly unintentional
first, the whole body and the convert form sort of look 3rd gen like, parking light placement, basic body design (it’s sort of mixed with the 1st gen, atleast I think so), windshield rake (I figured this better than the 4th gen rake since the 4th gen rake is really steep)

4th gen- fender connected side mirrors, smooth lines, placement of Z28 emblem on fenders, rear of car (with "camaro" letters and definitely not heritage taillights (like 4th gen had because none came close to the 4th gen lights)), center mounted exhaust (for use on Z28 or SS but I got the idea from the 4th gen SS), continuation from 98-02 headlights (used the outer one’s basic design with the square high beam added next to it)"

now someone help me host!!

Re: my 5th gen concepts-part 1

hey 97whitez28, i emailed the pics to you
thanks for hosting them

also, there are some things that are being changed on these pics and they are nowhere near being finished mode
these are basically rough sketches and everything and i'm working on making them look better
all in time though

edit: one change i want to make known is that i plan to make the lower grille part smaller to blend in more and flow better with the car
let the criticizing begin

I am not trying to be mean, but you can't be serious? That car would never make it into production, it's more like a concept made in the 60's. When I find a scanner I'll show you a real concept. Try again bud. New grill, that looks like a neon on a 67 camaro.

Re: my 5th gen concepts-part 1

yea,i can't seem to get the lights right
they look like neon lights at first glance because i didn't draw them right on a few pics
i'm working on getting them right
they're supposed to reflect a 68 (i believe) camaro that had the circle outsides with the rectangle lights next to it
and the headlight is supposed to be a continuation of the last 4th gen

Well you don't know me so don't talk ****, 94 camaro v6 is what I use to have, then I got a SS..................not saying the concept of the car is bad. I'm sayin that it's too retro. Noone is looking for retro. That orange car was just a joke. I wasn't being serious. I just found it and put that so everyone would look at it.

Re: my 5th gen concepts-part 1

i think the 5th gen might be alot closer to that pic than the others i've seen. it also looks abit like another concept drawing i've seen in the past.

what am I talking S#!T about? So you explained yourself..fine..now what I am saying is you probably from what I gather just started looking at the 5th gen section. Most of us here spend alot of time on this side of CZ28.com.
There are alot of people in the know and I can tell you this, they are on the $$$ to knowing what the next car looks like. Pick up Popular Hot Rodding this month. This is what were going to get, or pretty close.

Sorry if you dont like retro...and if you think im kidding ask a few people on the board, so the guys drawings of a retro car are not to far fetched.

the 2007 Camaro renderings from what they know is the car.
