Re: mustang getting restyled....
On a side note:
2009 GT500 (VMP 2.59 Pulley & Tune, MGW Shifter, UMI Panhard Rod, UMI LCAs, UMI LCA Relocators, McLeod RXT Clutch & Flywheel, Dynomax 3" exhuast w/ race bullets, FRPP 113mm CAI, FRPP Cobra Jet Clutch Fluid Line, Stiegemeier ported blower)
Damn, I bet that thing hauls (any power numbers). Did Stiegmeier in St. Chalres, MO do the porting?

Re: mustang getting restyled....
No power numbers or runs yet with the pulley, blower and tnew tune, I had planned to go to RIR last saturday but had my days off switched (which blows because I had a rain ticket) and I think that was the last day for my local track and yeah Stiegimeier in St. charles handled the porting. I had sent the blower off for a rebuild thinking the coupler was bad (and decied to have them port it while it was there), turns out the noise is really from a botched clutch install -> pro tip per Ford's manual; when you do a double disc install on a TR6060 in a GT500, lightly grease the input shaft and the splines on the clutch hub, your throwout bearing will thank you!

Re: mustang getting restyled....
To each their own. I like the 2010+ Mustang's looks. I like the way Camaro looks a little more.
As for the redesign, the nose is ok, but the blacked out rear with the red outlined LED tails looks a little too much like a mail-order part. And did they tone tone down the rear quarter to make it flatter, or is it just something about silver and the angles of the pictures?

Yeah the Camaro still looks sharper to me, although I like the rear better on the restyle, I don't like the current Mustang rear plastic, it just looks horrible and drab, wish it was full body color the whole way down in back over the pipes. Challenger is still the best looking of the 3 though just need to freshen the interior up like the 2012 Chargers.

Re: mustang getting restyled....
The new rear panel is my favorite part... I think it does look a bit cheap in those pics, but its basically under spot lights there too.
I'm not sure if I like the new nose as much as the old GT and Boss (the Shelby still looks amazing --- as always)
The Camaro is nice, but it shares GMs 'bland and thick' look that all of their cars from that era seem to suffer (CTS, I'm looking at you) and doesn't have enough detail for me. It certainly lost a lot of character from concept to production (despite looking almost the same)

Man, the wheels on that silver GT convertible are terrible. The wheels on the yellow Boss are much better.
Rear looks good, but not sure I'm digging the new proboscis-like extended nose/grille surround.

Re: mustang getting restyled....
^Interesting. Initially I hated the new Mustang just because of the rear end, even though I did love the front, but the whole thing grew on me. If that's how it's going to look it's a big downgrade IMO from the very excellent front end and hood of the current '10+ style.
