with muscle station wagons possible comming back..NOMAD??
IM thinking that the companies are trying to make station wagons cool again, or the quasi-sport wagon SUV crossover..like the New Volvo, outback, Crysler pacifica stuff like that, can GM build something off the popularity of these cars and actually do something proactive rather than reactive. Itroduce them at the same time..and call it a Nomad..a 2 door station wagon with some *****. Even something based off the rumored El Camino from Holdens design.
Its gotta be done and I think the only place where the chevy bar across the front would be on a truck like car...sort of..wish I could photoshop..put the frnt endof the new colorado on a holden ute... see what comes of it
what you guys think

I can see it happening...
I saw the Nomad concept a few years back at the Cleveland Auto show...
It combines two thinks that I am not crazy about... retro and station wagons. So, obviously, it's not my thing, but I can see them producing it considering what we are seeing out there right now...

Fast wagons are cool......
I love the Nomad, and I hope it has a future at Chevy. Unlike the Dodge Magnum, which is a 4 or 5 passenger wagon (what's the point), I hope a future production Nomad would have a third row seat. Add a Vortec 4200 or 5.3 V8, and I garauntee it'll replace my wife's minivan.

Call me a geezer, call me whatever you will, but the 77-90 GM B-body wagons were totally awesome and very necessary! The 71-76 GM Clamshells before that were even more amazing. The '76 Grand Safari is my favorite SW of all time. If they can execute something like that again in an appropriately modern vein, I'll be the first to applaud them for taking a chance where nobody else would! It's gotta be bigger and lower than the dodge thing I've been seeing.

Out here in California, especially in LA, I've seen plenty of LT1 Wagons with SS grilles running around with rims, tint, and lowered. They look awesome, and cost only pennies to insure, compared to real SSs.
