Look at the RED GTO concept on pg. 31 of Motor Trend's 9/03 issue. That car is very , and I mean VERY close to the SS concept coupe I saw back in June. Re-read the "GONGOS Survey" thread and my description falls right in line with the mags concept.
If you flared out the front and rear fenders on the GTO concept and reworked the hood lines ( a la '69 coupe) and rear quarter window a bit, you get the concept vehicle in the design study I went to. Even the five spoke wheels are similar in the MT concept. Coincidence? I think not.

One of those GTO sketches has headlights that look very similar to the ones on the new BMW 5 series. Maybe an overreaction as a result of the "American BMW" ideal that Mr. Lutz applied to Pontiac.
