No surprise though.. SUVs were the last bastion for Detroit, so the media is busy trying to convince the public that everything not made by Detroit (Even Hyundai and Kia now) is superior to everything made by Detroit.
They've been at it for along time, we are only now starting to see how much damage they can really do, with the tremendous brainwashing power they possess !!! The media cabal is no joke, scary stuff what they are capable of. It's very possible they can take down this country. The autro industry is JOB 1 on thier agenda.

Who cares? They gave that award to the VW Toerag (don't care how it's really spelled) when it came out, and they were some of the biggest POS's I've ever seen.

I've always found Subaru's to be very "quirky" cars, like WTF is up with the parking light switch on top the steering column? It one time took me 30 min of looking in the book to find that switch? I've also always found their interiors and seats to feel cheep.

However, the Forester is a good option for this year SUVOTY being it is safe, reliable and gets good MPG.

Motor Trend's COTY and TOTY awards are useless. It's basically their "we think this one is the coolest" award.

Car and Driver's 10Best program makes a lot more sense, at least if you're looking for something to guide your purchase. You figure out what type of vehicle you want / what purpose you want it to serve, and they give you their recommendation.
