Re: More z06 photos from Autoweek

Re: More z06 photos from Autoweek

I understand the reasons he released them, and I agree. However, little independent writers like me have to obey the embargo, and it doesn't bother me when someone else (with more "juice") jumps the gun. I'm just glad to be a part of the "early preview folks".

Ya, all the people who complained that the C6 ripped off the Malibu wheel (which it didn't) get to have the stock Pontiac wheel in the Z06 now.

It's like 1977, when they stuck a Nova wheel in the Corvette.
Re: More z06 photos from Autoweek
And to make it even more common, it's also the wheel used in the 2006 Pontiac Torrent SUV:

And to top it off, the Pontiac's get the duplicate radio controls on the wheel, and the Z06 does not.

OK, let's add another vehicle to the list:
HHR has the same wheel as the 2006 Corvette and Z06 now too:

So, we have our $50k plus sprts car flagship sharing a steering wheel with:
HHR, G6, Torrent, Soltice, and I wonder how many more.
And top it off with the fact that the $15k-$25k cars get the radio controls, and apparently, the $50k+ flagship does not.

Re: More z06 photos from Autoweek
I still can't get over the overly huge steering in our LS-1 cars that we shared with Monte Carlos.
When I had my '92 RS and the '02 at the same time, I loved driving the '92 better, simply because it had smaller steering wheel.
