More Chrysler 300/Doge Magnum info

Engine lineup includes 2.7 V6, 3.5 V6, & 5.7 V8 (340hp, 6.5 seconds 0-60mph). The transmission and the suspension, front & rear, is from Mercedes.

They'll be out in April, and prices will be out before the end of the year.

Also includes a couple of production car shots. That Magnum wagon is starting to grow on me.

Me too. It looks better from other angles besides the head-on shot where the grill is just overwhelming.

I'm thinking the GM equivilent would be the Holden Avalanche.

The wagon has a really sharp rear 3/4 view. But yeah, that grille on the Chrysler is fugly! The dealerships will have to park all their 300Cs with the nose facing away from the street .

I guess we'll have to see if the RWD layout bet plays out in Chrysler's favor. I hope so, but I am still sceptical.

As a current DC owner (Ram 1500 QC with a Hemi), I am anxiously awaiting the release of the Hemi in a RWD passenger car. As long as it has a V 8 and is rwd, I want it! If GM would make such a car, and keep the sales price below 35K, I would be all over it! If not, I may go all DC.
