mazda droping bad RX-8 survey complaints
Re: mazda droping bad RX-8 survey complaints
I wish that had more context though.... are they talking about the dealer satisfaction surveys that help determine a dealers "rating"? If so, it makes sense to drop a car that may be skewing the results. It's not the dealers fault if a new car is bad, it's the manufacturers. So what exactly are the surveys for?
Re: mazda droping bad RX-8 survey complaints
I used to work for mazda, and the RX-8s always had one problem in particular. They would constantly flood the engine unless you revved the motor above 4K RPMs and then quickly shut it off. People would have the cars towed to the dealership, complaining that they couldn't start the car. Sure enough, it was because they had just shut it off at idle instead of doing the correct procedure. I just thought it was kinda stupid that the car would do that in the first place. You'd think there'd be some sort of prevention to keep it from happening, because customers are idiots.

There is a reason why the rotory engine has been around since the 60's yet no one uses them.
RX8 would be a great car to give a new 265HP 3.5L V6 or Turbo DI 2.3L to.
