weak...
I remember talking with my dad a couple years ago, and we both agreed nothing in the world made sense anymore after cadillac started making trucks...and not only have they been making them, they've been selling like hotcakes!!!
Just another luxo sport-ute that will soon be seen clogging highways and parking lots with a full entertainment system and 24-inch wheels...

I know my opinions are less than popular, but I just can't understand what is with all this Cadillac stuff. It's like this site changed from a Camaro site to a Cadillac site. The new caddy's with their angular designs just don't do it for me. That, and I don't understand what all the fuss is about a warmed over Tahoe with new sheet metal. Yes, the engine is all fine and dandy, but the looks leave a ton to be desired.

It's all right by me that you don't like Cadillac's design direction, just don't expect people to stop discussing Cadillac here. Like it or not it's one of the few GM divisions that is creating a buzz. THAT is why it gets talked about.
About the ESV, I'm not convinced a Cadillac Suburban is really needed. The Escalade has established itself and is plenty to keep the "bling-bling" crowd satisfied. Plus the overly large dimensions don't lend themselves well to Cadillac's angular styling. It's much more awkward looking than Escalade. I would've much rather seen Caddy put those development dollars into, say, a CTS coupe.

Yea Caddy has coppied the Tahoe, Avalanche, and now the Suburban. They have hijacked the C6 program for the XLR and stole a LS6 for the CTSv. Then they cry when someone wants to use "their" Sigma chassis. And as long as things keep going well they will get more of GM's fruits. Soon Cadillac will have as broad of coverage as Chevrolet.
I was behind what looked like a very production ready SRX minivan/wagon/SUV.
We could only hope Chevy gets a third of this power and there will be new Camaro's for everyone.

Of course, the Navigator is much the same . . . but at least it gets its own dashboard.
