Assuming GM is still around then...

I'm pretty sure thanks to the intercooler it wont fit into a 4th gen, but it should pretty much fit into anything else.

Ultima GTR?
Factory Five GTM?
Factory Five Mk3?
Locost? (Lotus replica)

I wonder how much it'll fetch as the LS7 was $$$!

Isn't the intercooler on the top of the motor? That's nothing a different hood on a 4th gen couldn't solve.

If I have the money, I'd put it in a plain Jane '69 Camaro.

Looks like it goes far enough back that it'd interfere with the cowl. I know that doesnt stop a sawzall though.

I wonder if the oiling system would allow the engine to be mounted a little lower - which would clear the cowl entirely... A custom K-member would be a minor investment compared to this engine.

That's true. I'm sure someone will have the cash and the cajones to build an LS9 4th Gen. My guess is, GMHTP will be the first.

I think it would be pretty bad *** in my 67 with a 6spd manual

...although it probably costs more than the value of my truck

Or any Camaro at all, for that matter.

I was thinking 3rd Gen as well; but you could buy two thirdgens for the cost of the motor alone (at least); so the ROI will probably not be very good when you try to sell it. Have to part it out...
