That image of the blue Silverado on the website looks really good. My opinion is turning towards a really favorable one towards the new Silverado.

Well it's over.

I've got to say while I was very excited to hear about the conference, the speaker's presentation was about as -inducing as possible.

Now I'm just hoping that they might have an even more detailed post-launch website up here in a few minutes?

 

It just wrapped up, after hearing what the guy had to say. I'm seriously considering holding off until October. Unfourtinately he didn't give a price estimate, and that was one of the things I wanted to hear. Otherwise it was a good presentation, and I think I saw the Man From Mars somewhere in the crowd too.

 

I wonder if they're going to crunch down on GM card point usage when the truck is first released - limit it to 1000 or 1500 like the GMT-900 SUVs, or if they'll allow more like 2500-3000? Probably the first one but if they offer more in the range of #2 I might just have to buy a cheap V8 standard cab silverado here soon.

 

I saw some of it... The option to pause the presentation would have been nice when my dog decided to get sick so I had to clean it up! LOL

After seeing them in various colors, I definitely like the Silverado better than the Sierra. And WITH the chrome bar on the bumper better than the body color.
