Thumbs up Little things that Saturn does that perhaps GM's other divisions should emulate !

The other day my wife got a card from Saturn.

She opens it, and it's a birthday greeting. She kinda scratches her head thinking "it's not my B-Day !"

The card was for her car !!

Pontiac sent me a CD holder when I bought the T/A - I cannot say about Chevrolet since I bought the SS used.

At any rate, I thought that was kind of funny.

Whaddya you guys (gals) think - how important are niceties like this after the sale ?

I think with the next Camaro they need to copy Ford and send each new Camaro buyer a GM performance parts catalog, along with more factory performance goodies to chose from.

That will cultivate the aftermarket, which only helps add to the culture and lore surrounding the car.

I remember that Pontiac or was it the dealership my friend used....was giving out a free year subscription to a pontiac magazine when they purchased a new firebird...I think it was Pontiac Excitement or something along those lines...

All his parents ever owned were foreign makes. Maybe I drove him over the edge with my Camaro cheering, but he now has a 2002 WS6 and is a diehard Pontiac fan!

All I ever got for my 1998 Camaro was a request for money for an extended warrenty offer....how boring....

Regardless of what a person thinks of Saturns, their dealer network and service kicks ***. My sales rep drove 40 miles (80 miles round trip) to personally picked up the particular Quad-Coupe that I wanted and drive back to my local dealer.

Most people cant even get their Chevy sales rep to return their calls
