This morning I saw a Seat on the 405 (recognized the insignia). It's not one I recall seeing, and I checked their website. I'm guessing it's based on the new upcomming VW Golf since it was more rounded (egg shaped).

Though this one is probally a yawner as far as sightings go, last night (barrelling back from San Fran) around 1230 am on I5 between the 405 and the Hollywood Freeway, I came up on a car I suspect was either a new Kia or Hyundai. The body looked almost exactly like a Neon, but it had what looked like smaller wheels & tires. The backend was heavily camoflaged, but it had round tailights with a jewel-like pattern (IE: Nissan's Maxima) with it's turn signals just above. It had a black panel on the driver's door, and zig zag stripes on the rest of the body. Up front it had wrap around signal lights much like a current Kia, though the rest of the front was either painted black, or had a nose cover on it (only time I got a good look was when we passed freeway lights near exits.

Nothing exciting, but I figured I'd post it if anyone is really interested in econoboxes.
