A Labor Day Message from Scott Settlemire - Please Read.

Good morning, Camaro Comrades and Firebird Friends.......

As the Labor Day Holiday Weekend approaches, I once again urge you and your loved ones to use caution when behind the wheel. You've heard me many times talk about the importance of wearing Safety Belts......perhaps the attached video will put things in perspective.

Please feel free to share this clip with your fellow culb members and loved ones. If it saves even one from serious injury, then it was well worth it.

And, as always, please.....I beg you.....don't drink and drive. It's appropriate to celebrate the end of summer with family and friends, but please appoint a designated driver before the celebration.....or call a taxi.

On behalf of the men and women at General Motors.........have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend.
We are temporarily hosting the video, if someone has some space to host it, please let me know.

It sounds like a "safety stand down" message from the CO that we would get in the Marine Corps. Good stuff. I've always been against anyone I know drinking and driving. It's like pointing a gun at a group of people and seeing if you can miss everyone. Of course you didn't mean to kill anyone but you did nothing to but hope that it turned out ok.

good to see an emphasis on this subject.

Not a poppular message sometimes, but needs to be said... thanks!
Seat belts can save others lives as well as your own, because,
If you can't stay in your seat, you can't stay in control of your vehicle....
And we all know air-bags can be fatal w/o a safety belt...
