Jay Leno's 600 hp LS7.
Re: Jay Leno's 600 hp LS7.
That is the coolest Hot Rod ever! The LS7 puts out 490+ hp at the wheels with LG Longtube headers, Redline Fluids, and pulled airfilter....DigitalCorvettes.com has it on the front page! That engine is an absolute beast!

Cam away from 600, wow.
I've been telling people this for a while. I know several people who did calibration work on the Z06 LS7. One of the guys also does work for outside people building up custom cars. In fact, he helped calibrate the engine in Mark Stielow's '69 Camaro ("Mule"). Anyway, he said to me that he believed the LS7 was a cam swap (and retune) away from 600 to 650 fwhp.

I think it comes down to production volume at Wixom. The SC'ed LSx could be built on the same line as the normal LSx's.
