yesterday on my way back from school I saw a heavily camo'd sedan with raised panels off of the body all flat black. I only saw it quickly and couldnt tell exactly what it was. following it was a lexus gx470, a test vehicle foor the new G-class, new ML, CLS, and new 3 seires. all had dealer plates on it following each other. i quickly pulled a u turn and followed them. I was able to catch up to the G and took many pictures of it with my camera phone. the mystery sedan had gotten through a red light so it got far away. After awhile of following the G i tried to catch up to the sedan. got up to it but 3 lanes merged into 2 causing traffic and i was stuck a couple cars behind it. It went on the freeway and i followed. went a little fast to catch up to it when i noticed a quartermile down it had pulled over (either to get away from me (as im sure they were communicating with each other that i was taking pics) or to regroup) probly both. so i slowed down in hopes of them catching up but never did as they could have gotten on a connecting freeway.

then this morning, after dropping a friend off at the airport (LAX) im exiting and i notice a next gen S class. no camo or anything. It said S 500 on one side and sportwagen on the other. i tried following it which led me again to the freeway. but as i was passing a slower car to catch up to it, it took an exit on to another freeway and i had to let it go.

to sum up, i saw a mistery car. the new G class looks like an SRX and a suburban got it on and this popped out. it has identity issues and thinks its a benz. the new S-class doesnt look as hideous in person as it does in pictures (atleast to me) although i did see it only from the back.

 

Mercedes is looking to release a absolute plethora of new cars over the next few years . Definately a re-definition of the brand , they all look sweet .

 

I have actually been pretty dissapointed in the design of new Mercedes vehicles, especially the CLS. They are moving to that dumpy rear look and I can't stand it. They are moving towards a bolder, make-no-apologies design but i am not a fan. All the new designs look very akward to me but the power in the AMG vehicles is bad-***.

 

Finally, someone else who thinks the CLS is unattractive! me, I think it's butt *** ugly, but whatever.
