Lightbulb It's 1964 all over again, complete with Mustang Mania !

I've seen 2 GT's and one base in the past 2 days.

If history truly repeats itself, I'd expect that we will be swimming in the things by the end of the year.

Which gives me more chances to race, um, er, play on the street.

How goes the spotting in your neck of the woods ?

I have seen one on the road so far... a black GT with no spoiler, and the smaller wheels... Ironically, he was there at the Sheetz station, as well as me with my blue GTO, and another GTO (black)...

I also saw a yellow V6 Mustang at a dealership on a pedestal stand... I have to admit there were people out looking at it on a Sunday both times I drove by.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back to the thread.. I'm from houston as well Newbie T/A but I haven't seen one 05 stang yet. I've barely seen many GTO's and only one C6 on the road so far. I drive mostly on the Beltway on my commute but it is a long journey (From bissonnet to Bammel/249) but I just don't have any luck seeing them.

Oh well hopefully the day I see one I won't be dissappointed.

They're in dealerships here though I haven't seen any on the street yet as they just arrived this last weekend in very limited numbers (I'm BFE). But reading the stories of those who have them, it seems the car is quite attractive to many people. 05 Mustang owners are having people literally get out of their cars at lights and stop signs to come look at their cars. Groups of people gathering around theirs cars in parking lots. Pretty amazing stuff.

I can only hope they are all over the place. Not only is it ugly when its by itself, but when there are 10, 20, 40 Mustangs on your way to work, and you see them ever...single...day...
...its gunna lose its cool.

I have seen 2 Mustangs on lots, but have yet to see one on the street. The one I saw up close had a 3k mark up...and it was only a V6. I hope this dissapears as soon as more cars hit the lots.

That didn't seem to stop the last 4 generations from selling obscenely.
