RWD with available V8 that's not a truck or SUV ...what's not to like.

Looks like they'll beat GM and Ford to the market in this segment (excluding luxury brands).

I don't hate the magnum, but wagons don't do much for me.

If Chevy Chase makes another National Lampoon's Vacation movie, I think we already know which car will become the family cruiser!

I like them both. I can't explain why, but I do.

are they purpously trying to make Dodge and Chrysler nich brands? they're already getting beat on volume as it is. i mean, haven't they learned from the Pacifica?

i think that Dodge should definitely have a sedan version of the LX siblings. its their next bread and butter, how are they going to cut it out? what happens when a buyer wants to look at a Dodge mid-sized sedan? THERE ISN'T ONE.

You would think the Hemi in car form would have more HP

I liked the 300M better (looks wise, not powertrain)

morb|d - The Pacifica is selling very vell, they were up 15% 2 months ago. They just got a slow start b/c of lack of cheaper FWD models

As long as the price is right this will be our next family hauler (kids are coming soon). Gotta love muscular American styling of a wagon that boasts V8 and AWD. Anyone hear what the pricing of the Dodge Magnum will be?

Upper 20s. With the V8 just over $30K (roughly 5 grand over the Intrepid). Not too bad of a price if the interior materials and assembly are vastly improved to at least the levels of the new Grand Prix.

I don't find the bodies all that bad, it is just that the concept's huge wheels made the overall styling more flowing. Add some big wheels to the picture, and I wouldn't have much a problem.

I dont like them as much as the prototypes. They dont seem as "edgy" as the protos did, although I like the new Cadilac cars too.

Red face

Hemi power could make this a very "forceful" Magnum, indeed, if you catch my meaning

I don't think a Magnum Sedan would look good, They better stick with the Charger concept.

Does this mean Dodge is back out of the Police market?? The just introduced the Intrepid Cop car, and now there is no more Dodge full size sedan.

4 doors, V-8, RWD or AWD and under 35K, whats not to like. I would drive a Ford Falcon (If Ferd made one today) if it were available. At least now I won't have to buy another Ricer, prior to this, the Infinity G35 was really the only choice of inexpensive RWD sports sedan.

From a business stand point I think it would have been better to put out a Charger Sedan/Coupe first, then the Magnum Wagon a year or so later. Having the Stratus as the Biggest Dodge Sedan now is a bad move.
