i watched that and it actually brough a tear to my eye. only being 20 ive only owned 2 fbodies, a 1987 Camaro with the 2.8 v6 and a 1991 Trans Am with the 350 TPI. ive genuinely loved both cars. im now looking for my 3rd fbody and im looking for that special LS1 car.
Scott asked us to submit things that showed our love for the fbody. well i will be sending this to him as proof and i thought i should share it with you guys also. heres hoping.

actually i figured i would add a bit more. i didnt see an email addy for scott in the other thread and i know gm reads this board so ill just add my thoughts here.
i grew up in a camaro. my mom had an 85 z28 that was silver with t-tops and a built 350. She had to get rid of that car and later got a 92 Z28 in Gun Metal Grey with t-tops. I remember riding around in that car with the tops out, sitting on the driveshaft hump with the wind blowing my hair and Bob Seger playing on the radio. From that day on i loved the Camaro. Seeing movies like Smokey and the Bandit only made me love these cars even more. Sadly the 92 Camaro was sold and she moved on to a lumina but the memories are still fresh in my head.
When i turned 16 i had a brief crush on the newly released SN95 body style mustangs. i soon found out that i couldnt afford one and ended up with the 87 Camaro i mentioned before. it was bright red, with a dark grey interior. Car ran like a top, mind you it wasnt fast by any means. I learned how to do basic maintenance on that car, learned what it was like owning a car and learned everything i needed to know from that car. I took and passed my drivers test in it, found a very special girl in my life in that car, and generally loved that car.
Eventually things changed and i soon wanted a faster car that i could race. thats when i found my 91 trans am. Fittingly it was Gunmetal Grey and one of only 3500 91 Trans Ams ever made. it holds a very special place to me. It was the car i took down the track the very first time, the car i learned how to do a burnout in and things that all f-body owners should know.
Sadly when i got it, inclimate weather had taken its toll and rust had started. its only gotten worse and with no garage to do body work in, ive decided its time to move on. a close friend on mine said he would buy it from me and i know he will take good care of it. As for me, its time to move up in the world again, only this time to the 4th gen ive always had my eye on. For the past 4 years ive longed for a Ram Air Trans Am and im gonna do whatever it takes to own one. And hopefully (and i know it will) Ill be able to start a new chapter in my life with that car. Like i said before, heres hoping.

wow, it's an incredibly well-put TV program. This should definitely go to Red Planet. What would be even better if we could get the original airing on tape, high quality - perhaps some people in GM need to see it.

Is there a link to the entire video? Mia Lee looks hawt!
She looks like she has nice ***** i agree. But anyway actual figures are 5.2 to 60 and that really is a big difference from 4.5 seconds. It is still very fast no doubt but just saying thats not an honest representation, then everyone goes out blurbing false info and looking stupid with stupid arguments.

It's the same link, just right click and save target to your computer (I wouldn't advise if you're on dial-up)
