If GM decides to make the Camaro again, then it should either BE an F-body or at least resemble it. It needs to have that look that its had ever since it debuted, with long overhangs, aerodynamic stealthy looks, curves over the rear-wheel wells (i love that, it adds a muscular look), and still have an aggressive V8. I was never a big fan of 2+2 seating, but it should have that too. If the Camaro doesn't resemble what its always been, then I won't like it and I wont buy it. It wouldn't be a Camaro, it would just be a car that stole its name from one of the biggest icons in automotive history.

I agree with everything except the overhangs. I think it can still retain the f-body look without having half the car's length hanging off the front & rear.

I, too, agree, with the exception of the overhangs.... I have no problem at all with shortening the overhangs, in fact, I think they need to be shortened...

if they can find a way to shorten the front and rear overhang of the 4th gen camaro without making it look snubby, I think it would be pretty cool..

but what about the windshield? should they make it slightly more upright?

it would also be nice if there is a new design, that they would test it out in the windtunnel too....with a flat underbody..... or at least test it out in a computer simulation at high speeds..

If it doesn't have the big overhangs, they can push the wheels out farther and get better handling, which I'm all for. But, it's gotta look like a Camaro. When you look at it, you gotta know it's a Camaro. Gotta have the muscle car stance and apperance and the performance to back it up. Oh yea, gotta be affordable. I know the days of a $20K Camaro are gone, but when it gets above $30K, something's wrong.

I don't ask for much do I?!?!

Shorter overhangs, shorter overall length, and push the wheelbase out just a few inches. Also, put some 20" rims on the thing with some wide tires. Make the whole thing look muscular and like it can't be knocked over.

I always dream and picture what a camaro would look like if it were somewhere between the 3rd and 4th gen...

Gotta keep the evolution going, but I agree on the overhangs.

Chalk up another in favor of what everyone here seems to be saying. Again, the styling has tto restain some degree of overhang, but I too would like to see them shortened a bit from the previous 2 gens (though it looked bad-***) for practicality.

20" rims??? 16" or 17". A muscle car should NOT be "bling bling - show your shine!" It should be "vroom vroom - fly on by!"

Engine options. I want a list of atleast 4 different engines.

3.8L-Base Model
3.8L supercharged-RS
5.7L-Z28
6.0L+-SS

(Though technically, the Z28 and SS should be swapped, as the Z28 was always the top of the line in days of old...)

NO 20" wheels, would look rediculous. They belong on trucks.NO over hangs and make the car sedan-like like the first gens.
