if they made the overall shape of the fifth gen look something like this

Please note that I said "overall shape" I certainly don't mean that the next Camaro have the Alfa Romeo front end on it. And it would also need to have a back seat.

I think that this wouldn't really have much in common with a Camaro for NA, however a few pages down to Opel Insignia.. now THAT has a direct link, so that vehicle would have more inspiration in terms of "Overall Shape", however it still could be stretched or shortened as VE appears more flexible and can accomdate more than just a 2+2 coupe/hatch

 

That red Alfa looks like its based on the Solstice. Maybe we are seeing the Solstice's kappa platform mate?

 

Out of those two, id go for the red one as the over all shape. but change the back to have a trunk. but if it was me, id like to base the design of it off of this
