I made another 5th gen Camaro drawing
This time I hand drew one and "tried" to color it with paint shop pro. I realize it isn't very good, but what do you think of the design? I didn't really base it on another car other than a 93-97 Camaro, but I get a Ferrari 360 Modena feeling from it.
It strays a bit away from the usual long hood look because lately I've been realizing that a Camaro is really bothersome in a big city. We've been looking for a cheaper apartment, but our turning radiuses on the cars are too large to make the turn in on the garages of cheap apartments. So for this design, I tried to make a Camaro that might be less of a hassle to drive and get into a garage. Instead of just babbling on, I'll let ya'll share opinions.

well, imo, it looks too much like a 93-97 camaro
although i do love the style (i have one ), i think it's time to move forward a little bit
also, the long hood is a classic trademark of the camaro and by shortening it, you're only making the doors even bigger
and trust me, people think the doors on the 4th gen are already long enough
good work though, keep trying

Hmm, yes you are right about the doors. The doors are already too huge. But I don't know how well an RX-8/Chevy SS suicide half door would go over with most fans. I certainly don't like the idea of them on a Camaro... Maybe I will try another design based on the C6 and the GTO...even though I don't like the way the GTO looks .

The rest of the car needs sharper angles and the rear end needs to be redesigned but I can't just whip that out with a smudge here and there. I think it looks great though. If Cadillac can make every dang car in their lineup look exactly alike I don't know why Chevy can't do something similar. I really really really don't want a retro Camaro. And I really really really don't want a Camaro that looks like the GTO, there's already enough competition in the cars that look like BMWs. (I was going to put the GTO rear end on that design I just posted but couldn't stomach it.)

neither of them would be welcome in my driveway. Move away (a lot) from the 4th gen in design.
I never thought the 4th gens had a very large hood. It looked equal in size to the rear. First, 2nd and Third all had visualy long hoods, yet the 4th didnt give me the same impression.
