Not only are you a fun guy to talk cars with you had some very inspirational things to say. I really had a great time last week and this project will be a lot of fun to do now.
After I go through our nearly 3 hour interview recordings and write my paper some time next month I’ll make sure you get a copy.
Furthermore I think I can safely say I’m now part of the CZ28.com winkie club.
And I will probably have the black Suburbans following me around until the 5th gen rolls out.
But since I can’t and won’t spill the beans online (and need to go back through my interview to even remember what I can and can’t say)……
Let me say this…..for those of you “Keeping the Faith” there is some incredible stuff in the pipe line for not only us Camaro fans but for the GM enthusiast overall.
But anyways….sorry it took me so long to post up on this….I spent the last 4 days in Cancun at my uncles wedding. Which I must say was absolutely amazing (almost as cool as hanging out with Mr. S. for a night at the bar)
Once I go through my interview later this week, I’ll post up what comments I’m allowed to say.
Also if any of you ever have the chance to sit down with Scott, don’t miss it and bring some ice tea….damn that man can drink his ice tea….

After meeting with him, I got the impression that our car is definatly in good hands as it gets closer to launch...
And yeah, he can hammer down some tea, but I kept pace

Welcome to the "winkie" club.

One rule about sitting with Scott for any length of time, don't try to drink as much tea as he does. You'll either bust a bladder, or have those embarassing moments folks much older than us sometimes have.
I didn't read your PM till the day you were supposed to meet him, so I want to apologise for not getting back to you before then.
Typically, if someone tells you things in confidence, you probally don't want to imply that source is telling you things you can't publish. Scott was questioned some years ago over things posted under the "Red Planet" name here before he went "out of the closet", so you want to be careful (not just him, but anyone).

BTW, black Suburbans are nothing. Wait till you get those damn "V-chips" implanted!

Which one is top dog, the V chip, or the Z chip?
I'd second what was said above about sharing covert info. Infering that you know something that you shouldn't is just about as bad as just coming out and saying it. There are a lot of people here that are friends w/ a lot of other people who know a lot of things....it's best to keep those tidbits you were told in confidence to yourself, if for no other reason than to protect your friend.

Well...there was supposed to be no G5....but they made one.
I think there will be one....(it's not that expensive in the grand scheme of things)....but GM's fortunes have to get a bit better first before they can justify the expense.
