I was just searching the net and found these!!!!! They are renderings of a Camaro and Trans Am supposingly 2005. I think they are BADASS!!

I ahve to say all these home-grown Camaro concepts are starting ot look alike... most of them anyway.

That Trans Am is different though! A little over the top, and Batmobile-ish... but the general theme is interesting... it almost has a GTO flavor to it in the front end...

 

That Camaro doesn't take enough from the '69 to be that retro. At least the front end anyway.

That Firebird...... umm.... on first glance, I like it. Then I thought to myself how many people said that he 4thgen T/A (more specifically 98-02 models) were too busy...

 

I know we have seen TONs of concepts here that get lost in the board after a few days. Is there any site available that shows *just* the concepts and their authors? Something like a Cardomain page with just pics, no comments.

I kind of like that Firebird concept...needs a few tweaks, but I like the general theme. That is something I want to see more of...we've seen enough Camaro concepts, where are all the Firebird concepts at? People could do so much with that.

That looks the best of the non-retro ones, all the modern ones look like the batmobile and or they were designed to be futuristic in 1992.

That blue Camaro from Webshots doesnt have any real retro cues to where you can pin point it...but if you saw this thing coming, you know its a Camaro.

 

firebird concepts are rare since...the chances of the bird coming back are rare

 

I love that front end also. It has an "I'm madder than hell!" look, that the Camaro should have after being abandon for so long. I have some great ideas for the ad campaigns when they re-introduce.
