Are you going to pay $55,000 for a Hummer H3? That's just a bit more added cost than the $1300 we were told.

No I wouldn't even pay $55,000 for a brand new H1, but if 1 guy does and 15 others buy the 20mpg version the average will be 25mpg

I wish I had some time, money, and skills. I'd love to take a truck and convert it to electric for my 7 mile each way commute. S-10 or Ranger would make a great platform to start with.

Well, my point was that a $55,000 H3 is not going to be built by GM. Period. Far too low volume. Might be a decent enough niche for a company like this guy has.
