How many will keep your current F bod if/when a new one appears?

Just was curious to see how many of you love your car enough NOT to get rid of it

My Z28 will never, EVER be sold. I will live in it before I sell it. I'm lucky enough to be 23 with a good job, so hopefully this will never have to happen. My plan personally is to pay off the Grand Am by Summer, 2006...just in time for, I don't know, an '07 Camaro??? That's been my hope for a long, long time now...

Grand Am for a driver, Z28 for a trailer queen, and maybe a new Camaro too?? How about the rest of ya??

I don't plan on getting rid of my 35th. Not only because it's an anniversary car, but because it was my first "new car." My Monte will also be with me forever (if I can help it)....as it was my first muscle car. Those 2 stay. MY next ride will be purchased within 3 months or so. It will most likely be a black 1996 Impala SS.

I might trade my Z in on a LS1 SS in the next few years, but I definately plan on keeping atleast 4th gen in the garage when the 5th gen comes out.

My hardest desicion when the 5th gen comes out will be whether or not to get a 5th gen or GTO.

You know, this summer all of my cars have been mechanical nightmares. Local towing companies may have noticed an upsurge in their business.

I'm ready to sell 'em all, get a bus pass and take up stamp collecting.

I'm also keeping my '02. By '07 it will be paid off and if a 5th gen is out the 02 will retire.

I'd like to think that I will always have my 95'. It has been the best damn car I have ever owned. I will be buying a 5th gen when it comes out so I just hope I have enough room for my current Z.

I'm pretty attached to the 99 SS ragtop, and I just bought a 99 Zed Hardtop that I'm setting up as a dedicated autox/lapping car.

If the 5th gen shows up as a true "gotta have" car I'd probably let one of the 99's go. It would depend which one the 5th would replace better.

I really hope they offer a "knock your socks off" 1LE hardtop ...then I'd keep the ragtop.

I'll probably end up selling mine and using that for a nice down payment towards a new one.....unless they botch the looks real bad.....then its a toss up between the 400hp GTO and the Cobra (Yes ford I know).

If I get the GTO I'll probally keep the Z as my daily driver, replacing the SC.

If I get the 5th gen Z (notice Chevrolet, I didn't say SS) then I'll probally get a used Lincoln LS (by then the V8 versions should be very affordable) as a daily driver.

The SC I'll either sell or garage since I'm just about done restoring it already.

Depends on when and what mood my wife is in at the time.

Most certainly she'd want me to sell the 95 if I intended to buy an 07. The 67 stays though. About the only thing I'd trade it for would be another 67... either a RS/SS 396 vert; a real Z/28; or a L30/M20 RS.

My car's paid off....and I've got an extra savings account. I think I'll start putting in $300/month now. We'll see how it goes if/when it comes out. Boy, that would be a heck of a downpayment. If my car is still in good condition I can still keep it and have a new one......

I'll most likely keep my car. I've got some pretty big modifications planned for it.

Well I plan on getting a new 5th gen if they look anything like the one that has been posted on here and has some serious power. I won't sell my 95 z and theres no way my g/f will trade in her 02 ss so I guess I'll have to start saving money now in college. The year I grad they come out so it will be a great gift to my self lmao.

I already have way too much invested in my 96 to ever sell it plus its been my dream car since I was 8 when the 4th gen debuted. Someone has to kill me before my Z28 leaves my possession. If the 5th gen looks good, runs good and is done right.....even if its done 80% right I'll by myself a brand new Camaro Z28 for my first ever brand new car.

They already came out with a newer generation than mine and I didn't get rid of it. Why do it now?
