Why are models introduced in Jan 2004 considered to be 2005? Same with Mazda6 - when it came out in Dec. 2002, it was already a 2004 model. ???

What about ownership form. What does it say on it? If I bought that Mazda in 2002 and it said 2004 on the ownership form, man, would I make a killing selling it later.

Anyone knows this?

I think the 2005 Ram SRT-10 is a typo

Manufacturers can legally consider their car a specific model year the previous January of the year mentioned.

In other words, as of January 1st 2003, automakers can legally call any newly introduced vehicle a 2004.

If a Mazda6 came out in December 2002, it would not be considered a 2004, yet if it went on sale January 2, 2003, it [/i]would be[/i].

There's no Dodge version of the new RWD sedan on the chart. When will the Intrepid be replaced? More to the point, is the Charger sedan still down the road, or are we talking about only a coupe? And what happened to the concept of a big RWD convertible?

I really miss car-truck.com right about now. Does anybody know what took them offline?

I may be wrong, but I believe the guy who owned the site, went to work for Chrysler so he shut it down.

I miss the site too....
