I'm wondering if we'll look back on this 20 or 30 years from now and see this as the last big step to completely screwing ourselves. I certainly hope it's worth some short-term profit.

Wonder if the crash testing has gone any better.

Hopefully there's a Hemi or SRT version.

Hemi no, but SRT is likely. The Hornet's a little small for a Hemi, even by SRT's standards.

Well, based on what I've read lately about cat food, toothpaste, and childrens snacks from China, I'd say there is a pretty good chance these cars will be prone to spontaneous explosion.

Don't know. Anyone crazed enough to make 4 pistons produce 300 horsepower, then not only put it in a 3000 pound car, but send it through the FRONT WHEELS of a 3000 pound car, I wouldn't even begin to predict what they might do.

Finally, an A5 that I could afford!

Here are the names of their current cars:

subcompact QQ, the Tiggo, A5 and V5, Windcloud, Flagcloud, Oriental Son and Armoured Oriental Son

Oriental Son, Armoured Oriental Son - LMAO

I know that Chinese cars are everyone's punching bag atm... but so were Korean cars not so long ago... and before them the Japanese...

Chinese makes, as hard as it is to forsee, will be a force to contend with. You just can't underestimate the 'value' of their offerings. People WILL pay less for a commodity.

For all I know, "Camaro" sounds pretty stupid when it's translated into Mandarin, too.

The point was that you were laughing your *** off at something that was taken out of its cultural context, and you should not discount the possibility that they would laugh their asses off at things you care about.
