Why does it appear the truck pictured is being supported from the ground at the point the cab ends and the bed starts, almost like its bent? Photographic anomaly?

If you're referring to the thin line under the truck under the middle of the cab, that's a power cord. If you're referring to the wide black spot under the truck a little further back, that's the very bottom of the rear driver's side tire and/or the shadow it's casting.

As far as it being bent, I don't really see that. The bed rail does angle slightly upward while the belt line of the truck and the hood slope down, but I think that's just the way the truck is meant to look.

Seems Toyota is finally getting serious about making good pickups.

Maybe it will be enough to push Detroit back into investing in cars. Seems import brands are having problems now where our brands dont..... even Honda had a major recall!!! I can't remember the last time Ford had one, and they're in the worse shape.

Did TRD ever do the supercharger kit they had shown for the Tacoma? If they did, was it ever all that popular?

The body coloured paint helps hide that fugly horse-collar grille. The red truck really reminds me of a Dodge Ram SRT-10.

And yeah, that 5.7 sounds like a fantastic motor both NA and blown. GM's going to be bringing up the rear of the V8 pack if they don't watch themselves.
