Saw a orange/red one around here three weeks ago, and then again this past weekend. There is also a black one on display at a local dealer starting this past weekend.

Around where I live, you see cars show up early once in a while though.

Challenger driver also has a lousy reaction time.

I think it would have been a better race with a Challenger driver that wasn't asleep when the light turned green.

Yes, have seen a few. I work right by the Chrysler Tech Center.

Looks awful.

Too tall.

Can't wait to lock horns with my first one in the SS... He might think he's picking on a poor little 345hp LS1 F-car...

And he's in for a surprise!!!!

Even a poor little 345 HP LS1 F-car could take one stock for stock!

Haven't seen a single one, and I've been keeping an eye out. Guess I'll have to stop by Big O Dodge and see if they have one...

I pulled up next to an orange one at a light a couple weeks ago. It looked huge compared to my 99 Mustang but it was gorgeous.

My wife and I saw a black one on the road on Saturday. Looks pretty good from the front (especially at a distance, before its size becomes apparent); didn't really like it from the back.

Just found out my neighbor has one. My wife knows his wife pretty good, so maybe I'll go check it out. It's the orange color. Looks pretty nice, but I still think it's WAYYYYY to retro. If I wanted the original, I'd buy the classic.

Not unless you're modded.

Doubt it.

The SRT8 will smoke it.

In the Challenger R/T, the horspower but especially the torque advantage (404 lbs/ft on the manual vs LS1's 350) combined with the rear final drive ratio (3.55 versus the SRT-8 Charger & '08 SRT-8 Challenger's 3.06) will more than compensate for the weight difference against the LS1 F-body.

If you're driving a stock LS1 F-body, you aren't exactly going to want to go out and start picking on R/T Challengers. Especially if they have the manual.

FWIW:
Challenger R/T has 9.9 pounds of weight for each pound feet of torque going through a 3.55 axle.
A Camaro Z28 with the LS1 has 10.14 pounds to move from a stop (w/ a 3.43 axle).
As a reference, Mustang GT has 10.48 lbs with a 3.55.
If the Mustang with just 320 ft/lbs can virturally match an LS1's 0-60 with a 3.55, one can only imagine what over 400 ft/lbs can do with the same ratio.

You probably couldn't afford one. Have you checeked the prices decent ones are going for today?
