Has anyone Driven an XLR yet??

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has driven an XLR yet....are they available yet?

I'm going to to a GM "ride and drive"(think thats what its called)with my dealership...the XLR will be there. I just thought that was cool cause i'll kinda be able to see what the C6 is going to handle like, i know its not the same setup....but i think i'll get a general feel.

Also, a few guys that went to the one last year said there was two or three "suprise vehicles"..... SSR maybe? i dunno...

I'm going tomorrow morning.

I'll bring the camera just in case....

hmm I wasn't aware that the XLR was part of the "ride and drive" program, but anyway if you are going to see what the C6 can do I think you will be way off. First of all the C6 will have wider tires and a diff. suspension setup being that it is a pure sports car and not a "luxury" vehicle and would feel different. Just my .02...

No i know its gonna be much different man....but i think it'll be cool just to drive one all out, see what it can do....i know the C6 will be a lot better performance wise.

Good review man...i can't wait

Could you only test your own brand of cars? for instance do you work at a Caddy dealer, therefore you could only test the Caddy's?

Or can you just go wherever and drive anything...i'll be pissed if i don't get to drive the XLR. I'd get to drive the new Chevy's though, wow how exciting...
