What do you have to do get a 24 hr test drive?

and if you did a test drive, what car did you drive, and did the 24 hr drive influence your decision (either good or bad)

The dealer I took my Camaro to get some work on didn't offer loaners, but they did offer a free 24 hour test drive. Since they had my car, all I really needed was my drivers license.

My car was fixed by the end of the day, and I returned my "test drive" vehicle that same evening.

I told the salesperson that the vehicle (an Avalanche) "wasn't quite what I'd buy" instead of my Camaro.

My parents did not too long ago when shopping for a new SUV. They were basically deciding between the VW Touareg, Lexus RX 330 and Cadillac SRX. They brought the Cadillac home overnight decided it wasnt the car for them and brought it back the next day. The salesman was PISSED my dad didnt want the car. I dunno if thats typical, but this salesman was really upset. I guess they pretty much expect you to purchase the car if you take it home.
