Re: gto rendering

Nice to see Pontiac have a different grill. Also I can see alot of 99 concept in the front and the side reminds me of the 99 charger concept a little bit. Overall this has muscle and bold in your face rice eatin muscle car look to it.

Re: gto rendering

... .... and .

Why is it impossible for GM to make an attractive body? Even their renderings look hyper-conservative.

Re: gto rendering

The current GTO is bland, but at least it's not ugly.

Re: gto rendering

That front nose is a little to sharp... And it looks like a G35 from behind the A pillar.

Re: gto rendering

I can imagine the body being somewhat accurate, but I seriously doubt the front end is anywhere near the ballpark.

Guy, it's actually very accurate. The next GTO will draw heavily from the '99 concept in the front end.

Re: gto rendering

Front reminds me of a '70's Trans Am, not GTO...if they want a reference to the past, that's not it.
I definitely like the new '05 one better.

Re: gto rendering

I like it. I think it will look better in the flesh, as MT renderings often are very close, but not as good looking (remember the 5th gen renderings?). While some are finding the front end too harsh, I like the fact that it looks like a Pontiac - not a BMW, not a Nissan.

Something I did not want to hear. That concept was horrendus IMO. It was very tacky and looked very dated. Something that would've worked in the 80's but not now.
