GTO in New Orleans!

On my way to school this morning, down Veterans Blvd., I passed Paretti Pontiac and guess what i see. A red GTO.

I Haven't seen one on the streets yet. It had to have come very recently. Maybe during Mardi Gras. But, it's here, finally!!!!

Purple! That's the color I want.

I like the fact that GTO offers some different interior colors... other than the every-standard Black, Grey, Red and Beige...

Instead we have Black, Red, Blue, and Purple!1 Something different for a change!! Even though the blue and purple are limited to lue and purple exteriors, unfortunately...

I'd like to see the blue and purple interiors available with, say, Black and Silver exteriors...

Thumbs up

I went to the Buffalo Auto Show on the 7th of this month and was able to see and sit in a red one. I was also able to see a silver one and a second red one at a dealership last weekend (also in Buffalo). I've been busy so I didn't have a chance to mention it here.

I love that car. The silver one was the better of the two, IMO.

And, I did not find it to resemble the Grand Prix or Grand Am, or Aztek, or Montana, or Safari, or Rendezvous, or Maxima, or F150, or or Taylor Made 580, or L.A. Kings retro jerseys or anything.

(Maybe Monaro a little.)

Cheers,

Jeff

i agree about the colors and the interior/dash accents....For too many years, this country has settled for weak, muted colors...Everything i see these days is black-silver-white, a shade of blue or red...so unimanginative...If they ever get the camaro out again, Hugger Orange should be a MANDATORY offering!

I always thought of HO as the 'official' color of Chevy performance, just as blue is Ford's

They also had a silver one there (I think it's sold because I saw someone driving it up Causeway.) Both are automatics, but a black manual should be in soon. I sat in them and the interior is awesome. The exterior is ok, but looks too comon. The exhaust is louder than your average car, but not loud enough for my taste.
