Grapes of Wagoner
Grapes of Wagoner
Man walkin' down the car sales path
Sees share slidin' and there's no turnin' back
Competition comin' up over the hill
Loomin' bankruptcy is a bitter pill
Foreign production within our border
Welcome to the new world order
Sittin' down here at the stock ticker
Wishin' the company'd stop gettin' sicker
No home, no job, no peace, no rest
Hence ousting Wagoner is the quest
Much as it may sound silly
Waitin' on the ghost of good 'ol Billy
Sees share slidin' and there's no turnin' back
Competition comin' up over the hill
Loomin' bankruptcy is a bitter pill

Re: Grapes of Wagoner
He sells Buicks in Motor City,
For GM, he feels much pity.
Thinks he is the real McCoy,
but his "plan" is just a ploy.
Talks bout business like he knows all,
with no experience, as I recall.
GM think he is a fool,
but he's not, he's just a tool.
Stick to selling Buicks BM, you have no idea how much knowledge it takes to run a corporation the size of GM. Your dealer "experience" means nothing. I spent years studying finance and business, and I would have no idea how to fix GM given the chance, I'd venture a guess that you'd do even worse. There are a lot of smart, expereinced people at the top (including Wagoner), and you're nothing more than an office joke over there.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I respect yours. However there have been almost 100,000 hits to GeneralWatch.com with in excess of 15,000 favorable emails. Last summer's duPont diatribe is simply a precursor to the hereby promised persecution of failed management.

Re: Grapes of Wagoner
I still dont understand why you come here, to a site where you know 99% of the people on it think you are an idiot who thinks hes gods gift to GM just because you are good at selling Buicks in GM heaven.
Re: Grapes of Wagoner
Perhaps because Jim Dollinger see's hope for General Motors in Enthusiasts. I don't know about you.....but do you really, honestly enjoy reading a new and different news story about how wall street wants General Motors to file bankruptcy?
How F'ed up is that. People actually want the company we love to file for "protection" against creditors.
We're in bad shape. I say 'we're' as an Enthusiast group. It's really not looking good.
That's not to say the company has some impressive things coming up, but c'mon look at the news lately. Hell, my life depends on GM and far and away more than a web-site. My father is UAW for 30+ years as well as my uncle and their dads.
