Oh yeah, Caddy just laid the smack down on Porsche in the Speedworld GT Manufacturer's Cup...Also, Driver's cup went to a Caddy driver. Good job

Hey, even if sales for GM are sucking right now, at least they are cleaning up on the track, lol

I've been a fan of Max Papis since way back in ~'94 or so. He was racing a Ferrari WSC (open cockpit sports prototype) at Lime Rock, got run off the road at turn 1 on a restart. It was a joy watching him charge back up through the field to win the race. A post-race interviewer asked him what he thought when he was driven off the track and he said "I want to CATCH ze bastard!". I think that's when they started calling him "Mad Max"

Hey! And don't forget our local boy, Ron Fellows, who's been kicking some serious butt with his teamates in the ALMS series over the last couple of years!
(BTW, I believe Ron actually began his professional racing career piloting Players' Cup Camaros in the '80s)
As well, Ron won his 2nd consecutive Speed GT win at Mosport just this past Labor Day weekend - driving a Caddy CTS-V!
I've met Ron a couple of times and he's a super guy who is extremely modest and is always willing to talk cars and racing. He talks to you as an equal and is an excellent listener - definitely not full of himself as so many race drivers seem to be. He actually seemed surprised when I asked him to sign my shock tower! That signature is my good luck charm as I have a couple of opportunities to get out on the Mosport Grand Prix track (Ron's home course) a couple of times a year for lapping days - and I'm pumped as hell, 'cuz this Saturday is my next opportunity!
Best regardSS,
Elie
