That's just because it's a coupe. I am sure the Challenger is a little lighter than the Charger.

No, it isn't just because it's a coupe. The Challenger is just about the same weight as the Charger.

Compare M3 sedan with M3 coupe or G37 sedan with G37 coupe. For that matter, compare Monaro/GTO with Commodore SS. Then compare Camaro with G8.

Also, read earlier in this thread where the topic was discussed.

QFT. GM farted around with different RWD programs for so long they completely missed the market window. GuionM knows this, he's posted about it in great depth.

The corporate goal wasn't just "Build a Camaro", it was "Build a line of RWD cars that can be sold profitably worldwide." -- and on the latter point, they failed and are hitting the reset button. The Camaro looks like an excellent car, but it is sitting on a mountain of canceled plans.

Is there a ACAR (All Corvettes are Red) like book for the 5th gen Camaro?

Thanks.

It's not at the same level, but start with the Feb 2009 issue of Collectible Automobile

That's what really saddens me about GM.

By this time, I expected GM to have a myriad of RWD sedans/coupes/convertibles... to offer products without peer, quid pro quo.

Still no sign of a resurgence, your honor.
