I guess the Cobalt/G5 aren't part of the new product assault that are growing sales?

GM's new move to stop the competition- Fire all employees so they don't have any money to buy Honda's or Toyota's.
Honestly, what can GM do if their hot small car isnt selling well enough for 3 shifts. They got'a do what got'a do so they don't go BK.

Cobalt is selling about on par with the Cavalier.
The problem is that there isn't anything made at Lordstown to replace that annual production of roughly 40,000 Pontiac Sunfires that are no longer being made there.
The so-called G5 is going to be only a coupe as I understand it, so that isn't going to create much of a demand for factory capacity.
Lordstown isn't going to close, if that's any comfort.
