Any particular reason why you would say that?

GM's current hybrid system in their cars is an utter joke. As long as the hybrid model is being "killed" until something that is actually competitive comes out of the Tech Center, I think it's better off dead. GM doesn't need consumers critically comparing a 41 mpg hybrid Fusion with a 26 mpg "hybrid" Malibu.

 

Let's not even get into the complexities of marketing the Volt and the BAS pseudo-hybrid at the same time. Good move GM, this will eliminate a lot of potential confusion.
