Exclamation Get ready for small crossovers... even from Cadillac!

GM is looking at a small Cadillac Crossover to go along with the upcoming Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia, and Buick Enclave. 4 & 6 cylinder and Hybrid powered.

Expect them no later than the 2010 model year (3 years!).

Isn't the Theta 2.0 based Cadillac BRX due out within 15 months? I heard it would be shown (in concept form) at either NAIAS or NYC

Outlook/Acadia/Buick are NOT small vehicles. They will be bigger than the SRX, so a "small crossover" from Cadillac would not be served by being Lambda based...

Or do you just mean "to go along with" as in, it will be another crossover joining GM's other upcoming crossovers?

To go along with.

GM is increasing it's crossovers from 7 to 14. Buick-Saturn-GMC are getting the bigger one, Cadillac a smaller one.

Had to go back and re-read.

Why do Saturn, GMC and Buick all need a similar crossovers? I thought GM was going to stop doing this.

People who have seen them seem to think they are very different looking. Unfortunately I've only seen the Saturn, and it was under camo, so I can't compare it to the others.

Think LaCrosse/Grand Prix/Impala (or more), not Terazza/Montana/Uplander, in terms of differentiation.

Enclave has to be the stupidest name that GM has had in a while.

Is this a certainty though? Last time I checked, this was a yet un-named vehicle. If that's truely is, that's aweful.

I'm just waiting for the GMC Coven or something. New vehicle names really seem to be getting weak.

I just wish that GM would bring the Chevy SX3 to the states. IMO it is the best looking crossover/cute ute on the market.

Joe, any hints on the V8 that will be in the Lambdas? Or did you see the v6?

If there is a GMC Enclave, does that mean there will be a Pontiac Void?
