Great so just decrease the rebates by 1500 bucks and then call the hemi a "free" upgrade when in reality you basically just paid 1500 bucks more to get a hemi, whether or not you wanted one otherwise.

The "Hemi" marketing ploy is officially DEAD.

I'm waiting for Chrysler to start giving away a Neon (hell, everything else is stocked up in the overflow banks, maybe some of these still are too????) for every Mega Cab Ram we sell...

We are the king of incentives, after all...

It wasn't that long ago that GM dealerships were doing something similar. I remember the ads for a free Cavalier with a Tahoe purchase. Heck, that was only about 3 years ago right?

A dealership down here was giving away Aveo's last year with the purchase of a Tahoe or Suburban I believe...

Chrysler better be careful. They might get accused of "forcing" gas guzzling engines on consumers and being irresponsible. Sort of like when GM offered rebates for gas on SUVs.
